A word from the founder
My name is Fanta.
After several years in engineering, I felt the need to get back to basics: to create, pass on and bring to life what I've always been passionate about - cooking.
Expatriated to the Netherlands after living in France, I seized this transition as a genuine opportunity for transformation.
Author of the book Farafinah Food, devoted to African superfoods, I have gradually built up a universe where identity, health, gourmandise and creativity intersect.
At the same time, I am continuing my training in nutrition, convinced that eating well must rhyme with pleasure, knowledge and transmission.
With Farafinah Food, I offer a cuisine inspired by my Senegalese roots, but open, modern and accessible.
A homemade, colorful, fusion, healthy and gourmet cuisine that celebrates the richness of African products in a different way.
My approach is simple: combine pleasure, authenticity and balance, while upholding the values of Teranga, the Senegalese art of living through generosity, human warmth and sharing.
