Ingredients
- 2kg of turkey legs cut into pieces
- A dozen small potatoes
- 500g of onions
- 3 carrots
- A vegetable stock cube
- 75g of butter
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- ½ lemon
- 2 to 3 teaspoons of Meat Masala or Garam Masala.
- A small jar of olive
- Half a jar of crispy onions
- Salt
Preparation
1 - Wash the turkey meat.
2 - Peel and dice the onions and carrots.
3 - In a pot, add 25 g of butter with a little olive oil, sauté the onions for 10 min. Set aside.
4 - In the same pot, do the same procedure with the carrots, add a dash of honey; cook for 5 min. Then set aside.
5 - Still in the same pot, add the rest of the butter with a bit of olive oil, let it heat up a bit and then add the meat.
Cook over high heat for about 10 minutes, when the meat is well browned, add the spices, the stock cube with a liter of boiling water.
6 - Let it simmer for 30 min over medium heat and then add the onion. Cover with aluminum foil and lid.
7 - After 20 min of cooking, add the carrots, honey and salt over low heat.
8 - Soak the crispy onions in hot water for 10 min.
9 - In a deep fryer, fry the peeled potatoes, when they are golden, put them in the sauce with the olives and the crispy onions. Adjust the seasoning. Ready to serve, eat with bread.
